Holiday House Tour 2016 Postponed

With the mild fall weather and no seasonal slow-down in the real estate market, the holidays kind of snuck up on us, and it appears we're not the only ones feeling this way. We were hard at work coordinating the 2016 Holiday House Tour with a Christmas in the Village theme along with some fun and interesting new elements when some key components fell through. At that point, we agreed with the Chamber's difficult decision to cancel. While we'll miss this festive event and the opportunity to welcome so many from the community at this special time of year, but just couldn't present something that wasn't our best. So we're taking a break for 2016 and are committed to returning next year, better than ever!

To help you get into the festive holiday mood, here's a look back at last year's tour — enjoy!

And we hope to see you out and about at all the other festive and seasonal activities in and around Bedford — this is such a wonderful time when our community comes together to celebrate and connect. We've been busy decorating our office and our homes — gathering greens, celebrating with colleagues, shopping for gifts and special

recipes. What makes this season special to you? Do you have a favorite family tradition or recipe? Please share on our Facebook page at — we'd love to hear from you!

And in case you need some ideas, here are some of our favorite upcoming community events!

Fun with the Kids Alert! Trunk or Treat Fri Oct 28

Ok, I'm not afraid to admit it — the entire team here at Suzanne & Company looks forward to this event! We've been hard at work on our costumes this year and can't wait for the big reveal. Patriots Day Local History Comes to Life

While I realize history may not be everyone's favorite subject, being surrounded by so many historical sites and events really helps to bring it to life. And one of the best times to get a glimpse into Greater Boston's revolutionary heritage is Patriot's Day, which this year is April [...]

Holiday Traditions of Love and Joy

Looking back over 2015, I?m struck by what a tough year it?s been for many of us ??on a personal as well as a global scale. And I?m finding that these are the times when I?m particularly appreciative of family and the traditions that remain the same year after year, providing a sense of stability and grounding in a sometimes topsy-turvy [...]

90 Great Road is in the Holiday House Tour!

More on 90 Great Road — the Hartwell-Hamblen House

As the plans to create the Christmas in the Village theme for the 2015 Holiday House Tour came together, with all the homes located within walking distance of Bedford Center, I realized it was the perfect time to include my office at 90 Great Road. We’re decorating the office spaces on the [...]

Thank YOU

As we prepare for days of feasting and visits with friends and family, I'm also present to what a tough year it's been for so many of us — nationally, internationally, and very close to home as well. We've sustained some extraordinary losses and striking changes, and yet some things are constant — family, holiday gatherings, traditions, and [...]

Appreciating Mothers Everywhere

As we approach Mother's Day I've been doing some thinking about what it means to be a mother. Sometimes it seems so overwhelming, with so many issues to navigate -- what school to attend, who are my child's friends, is the car seat/booster installed properly, are they eating whole, healthy foods -- that I'm sometimes immobilized by fear I'm [...]
