A Bountiful Harvest of Thanks

thanksgiving-bountyAs I take a moment to contemplate the abundant blessings in my life and the many things I have to be thankful for, my heart is filled with such gratitude that I'm almost speechless. But speechless doesn't make for a very interesting blog post, so let me do my best to articulate what's in my heart.

This year I'm first and foremost thankful for my beautiful, healthy boy, Wesley!

I'm thankful June is enjoying kindergarten and settling into the school year.

I'm thankful that we've completed some of the projects at home, particularly painting the exterior and completing a huge REDO of the front landscaping.

I'm thankful for my faithful dog Stella -- she can sometimes be a pain, but she has been by my side for almost 10 years and she is SO patient when June dresses her up and plays "dog catcher"!

I'm thankful for our small town and the lifelong friendships it cultivates.

I'm excited for the holidays and looking forward to the Bedford High School football game -- there's nothing like living in a small town and the feeling of a community coming together for a common cause.

Since I'm cooking for the family on Saturday, I'm really thankful for my Aunt who is teaching me how to cook. Here's hoping the lessons stick!

And I'm thankful every day for the amazing clients, colleagues and partners I get to work with every day -- my life literally wouldn't be possible without all of you.

It is my sincerest wish that the lives of each one of you reading this are filled with a similar abundance of blessings and love.
