As we dig into the new year, one of the items at the top of many people's list of goals is getting organized and reducing clutter. We all know the mental and health benefits of clean, well-arranged spaces but the challenge is where to start?
One thing I'm considering is a scheduled routine for my regular housekeeping chores. I know, I know — who wants to think about housekeeping all week long? But this way, I'm able to tackle one or two things per day which keeps me from getting overwhelmed AND keeps my house fresher, cleaner, and my mind is clearer, too, knowing that things are being managed or scheduled and not just piling up.
Here's a sample schedule.
