With so much open space available, Carlisle is an ideal setting for outdoor recreation. Carlisle offers groomed cross-country ski trails that are lighted at night for evening skiers. In the summer months, bicycle timed trials take place in the center of town! Also Carlisle is home to Great Brook Farm State Park. This park offers canoeing, fishing, mountain biking, horseback riding, historical resources and more.
Children in grades kindergarten through grade 8 attend Carlisle Public Schools. High School Students attend Concord-Carlisle Regional High School located just 12 minutes away in nearby Concord. A wide variety of community, technical, and vocational colleges are also close by.
