While in the process of building her first home back in 2004 ,  Katie discovered her love for  Real Estate and Interior Design. At the time, she was working hard to help grow her family business of 13 years. Working for her family, Katie was able to learn all about how to manage a business, Sales, Accounting, Marketing, Bookkeeping,  and building many relationships.  It wasn't until Katie had her first child that she moved on from the family business to be home with her daughter Avery. During this time, she contemplated getting her real estate license but never could find the right time. Instead, she took her great work ethic to a local pre-school where her daughter went and was able to put her Early Childhood Education degree to use.  Before you know it, full-time  Kindergarten came for her daughter and Katie realized after 3 years at the Montessori School that she was still dreaming about real estate. She realized she had the time to invest in learning a new career and decided to go for it!  In 2015, she turned her passion into a reality and received her license and began to work for a private firm in Duxbury.    

In 2020,  when Covid hit, Katie was presented by Suzanne at Suzanne & Co. to join her team.  Suzanne was eager to expand to the South Shore and Cape Cod. Katie felt this was an opportunity of a lifetime to be part of such a powerful leading team and would allow her to expand her business and grow as a Realtor. She was blown away by the team support, resources, tools, and coaching that was offered and she knew instantly this was going to be a great fit. Katie's number one goal is to make buying and selling a home a smooth, stress-free, enjoyable experience. Katie likes to make the home buying/selling experience fun while educating her clients, keeping them informed, and guiding them through the process. She pays close attention to detail and is extremely organized so a client never needs to worry about what is next. In addition, she is certified in home staging which allows her to help clients maximize efficiency and get top-dollar for their property and earned her Accredited Buyer Representative certification from the National Association of Realtors.
